Grading Time: PC Magazine - FAIL
I give PC Magazine an ‘F’! They fail, but they fail at failing, they are posting a huge load of crap on their What Not to Buy in 2007 article (see screenshot below). They claim that Microsoft Vista “does improve speed” - I don’t know what they are smoking, because that is simply NOT TRUE. I have used Vista for 6 months or so, it IS NOT any faster than XP, in fact it has so many problems that cause a SLOWDOWN because of the load of the DRM crap employed by Microsoft.
I cannot stop laughing, somebody was probably paid off, or they are one of the blind followers of the “Microsoft Stack”, because Microsoft can do no wrong. I work for a company that follows this philosophy, personally I think this is a line of thought is a huge mistake for any company.
Oh, and the crack against Linux? I’m going to just ignore that bit…
