Robot run parking garage

I ran across this link today [Journal Gazette - Robots Hit the Spot], talking about how a apartment parking garage in New York has been converted into a robotic solution. The driver parks their car on a pallet that is large enough to fit a medium sized SUV (I wonder if my Jeep Grand Cherokee is considered ‘medium’). The robotic system then lowers the car and ‘parks’ the vehicle in the underground area, where it fits 40 some cars in the space that used to allow for 24 cars. I think this is a very nice concept…
