Moving to a new place
Well, I haven’t written down anything here in my blog in quite a while. Well, this is partly due to the fact that I have been crazy busy with work. Traveling to Dallas, TX and Keystone, CO on business has made it a little harder to write anything down. The Keystone trip was for our annual company meeting, which was mostly presentations and fun, I got to ski so it was a very nice trip for me.
Anyway, over the weekend we moved about 100 yards north of our previous apartment, so we are now on the ground floor under 3 heavy-footed, screaming and noisy kids. Which is much better than our previous arrangement, living above a cranky old couple who were sensitive to noise (I fell once and they complained about the banging on the floor). Anyway, the kids aren’t too bad, especially now that I don’t feel bad turning up the music a little bit. Hidesato Systems now has an office here in this apartment also, where I can work in peace and ‘quiet’ on my plans to take over the world - one server at a time. Janel also has her own office, which she shares with me for non-Hidesato stuff, we are going to do some painting over the next few weeks and the new place will start feeling like home again. I just don’t look forward to moving the washer and dryer over here, and the cleaning…
Well, I’m off to start putting more stuff together in my office…
