I came across a Linux live-cd distribution that I think deserves ‘hats off’.  Dynebolic has used a very similar setup as I have envisioned for my own versions of OpenSolaris/Linux based server distribution.  Dynebolic is concentrating more on a multimedia experience, but they have integrated many components into a performant live cd distribution.  Running XFCE 4 and Rox filer, the interface is lightweight and not overbearing.  I can use this distribution in M$ Virtual PC 2007 without problems and it performs well also.  My hat is off to those who have put together this distribution!
